School is open!

The school is open for business as usual this morning.

Please ensure you take great care on the roads and pavements which may be icy.

If possible, it is our intention to allow the children to experience the remaining snow at breaktimes. Please ensure that your child is equipped with trousers, Wellington boots (named and in a named plastic bag) and a warm coat or they will not be able to join in the snowy fun.

Please take care and have a safe journey to school.

The Den Before and After School Clubs

We are delighted to offer both Breakfast and After School Clubs with The Den at Hordle (CE) Primary School.

Our Breakfast Club runs from 8-8.45am Monday to Friday. Parents are required to register their child and pay in advance each term. Ad-hoc bookings are also available once your child is registered to attend. There is a varied menu and always a good choice of food on offer. After the children have finished their breakfast they will go outside with a member of staff on a dry day or will take part in an indoor activity if wet.

The Den After School Club offers sessions from 3.30-6pm with a range of flexible options available to ensure we are meeting the needs of all families. There is even the option to attend from 4.30pm so that your child can enjoy their Hordle Hub Clubs and then be collected by The Den team for snack time and more fun activities!

If you wish to register for either/both Breakfast and After School Clubs, please complete the form below:

Registration Form

Both clubs welcome children from Hordle Explorers Nursery (from 2 years old) up to Year 6. Payment via Childcare voucher schemes is available or via our online payment system, Scopay. Payment must be received in advance in order for your child to attend.

The Den also has a Facebook page. Please like us and receive updates on all the activities we have been up to!

If you have any queries or would like to book additional sessions please speak to Mrs Rook in the School Office or email theden@hordleprimary.co.uk
